Baseman is contributing an original painting to the upcoming Hello Kitty 35th Anniversary exhibition at Royal-T. For this special event, SANRIO is pulling out all the stops! In addition to launching a variety of special, limited edition products, SANRIO will introduce Three Apples, a multi-dimensional exhibition and celebration of all things Hello Kitty running from opening October 23rd until November 15th. The opening reception on Friday, October 23rd is open to the public.

Three Apples features an unprecedented lineup of over 80 celebrated artists who've been invited to interpret their creative vision of Hello Kitty in unique, original works that will be on display and for sale. Artists include Amanda Visell, Andrew Brandou, Bigfoot, Brian McCarty, Buff Monster, Frank Kozik, Friends With You, Gary Baseman, Luke Chueh, Mary Inukai, Michelle Valigura, Natalia Fabia, Ron English, Simone Legno, Tara McPherson, Thomas Han, and Travis Louie plus a wide range of artists from all over the globe!

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the artwork will benefit L.A. Works, a volunteer action center that creates and implements hands-on community service projects throughout the greater Los Angeles area.

To celebrate this special event, Baseman will release an extremely limited edition giclee print of his painting. The print is limited to only 35 and measures 17 x 22 inches. It's offered exclusively through JapanLA
